Levente Gyárfás’s “Dust of Earth – Rays of Heaven” is a deeply personal and emotional tribute to his grandparents, composed during the pandemic when he was unable to attend their burials. Driven by poignant piano melodies and the haunting sound of church bells, the piece captures a journey of transformation, rising from grief to a sense of spiritual transcendence. With soulful flute passages and a symbolic representation of wandering souls, the composition evokes the eternal bond between life and memory.

Looking at his university years( bachelor degree in music pedagogy )from classical music to modern classical trends to jazz and experimental music has played a very decisive role. He was greatly influenced by the choir’s art, free improvisation, conducting, composing, orchestrating. He has participated with interest and fulfilled various requests across the border, as a performing artist and composer, for theater, church, and various other music project.
He can also claim outstanding international successes as a composer: his compositions achieved podium positions in Great Britain’s most important songwriting competitions. His latest composition is “dragonfly-totem”, which won the category award.
As a self-taught composer, he is tirelessly committed to interpreting his vision, thoughts, and insights in the most authentic way in music. In summary, he feels and what has been proven that his musical thoughts are wide enough to grab a wider audience.
