About Antzu: Taiwan poet singer Antzu (a.k.a. Andrew Huang 黃安祖) won three American “Global Music Awards” this month, setting a historical record for the most wins for Mando-pop artists at the awards. Huang is a four-time winner of America “Global Music Awards.” He has won 9 Global Music Awards with 5 different albums thus far.

Dubbed by the media as the “first modern Chinese poet singer,” Huang established himself as a trailblazer by merging modern poetry with contemporary English pop genre styles. Alejandro Llovet Abascal was born in Mexico City in 1977. At a very early stage, he studied piano and music at a renowned local academy. When he was a teenager, his piano teacher gave him some composition techniques and lessons, which have improved over the years. He developed a professional career in the worlds of Business, Education, and Entrepreneurship but never gave up the idea of working with his own Classical Music compositions. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, he finally had the time he needed to polish his over two-decade work and published his first Albums on Streaming Platforms in 2021. Inspired by great composers like Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Verdi, Puccini, Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach, we can hear some influence from them in his artistic work.

Written, performed, and produced by Alejandro Llovet Abascal, in his music, we can see years of work coming to great inspirational albums, with pianos, acoustic guitars, choirs, drums, and trumpets coming all together to an Epical Music Style.

Korean jazz pianist Suwon Yim’s new album Guilt or Tragedy is out now. On a personal note about the album, Suwon states, “Every decision I make regarding of my life brings guilt or tragedy. I once lived in a room of despair. This album is myself jumping out of the cesspool.”

Suwon Yim was born in Seoul, South Korea, graduated from Berklee Global Jazz Institute’21 Summa Cum Laude with a full scholarship and learned with masters such as Danilo Perez, John Patitucci, Terri Lyne Carrington and others. Suwon is a pro Jazz musician who got invited to Gutenberg Jazz Collective (Jazz Campus Mainz) Germany in 2022 as the top finalist. Moreover, she toured around Europe with Ray Brown Jr. Quartet building up numerous stage experiences and Jazz repertoire. Suwon released her full-length LP album, Escape From The Underplay, in 2022 which got featured in Korean Magazine Jazz People, MMJAZZ.
